Meet George - Your Sensitive, Sweet Companion!
George is a charming, social boy who loves company and gentle affection. He'll happily greet you with cheek rubs and follow you around, but he's also a sensitive soul who needs someone who understands when to give him space. Too much petting can overwhelm him, so watch for signs like tail flicks or ears flattening-he'll let you know when he's had enough!
George thrives in a calm home with enrichment and play therapy. Puzzle feeders, vertical spaces, and structured play sessions twice a day will keep him happy and help him feel secure. He loves toys, so please avoid using hands for play-he can get a little mouthy when excited.
He may do well with respectful teens and could even share his home with a calm, social dog or another cat, as long as introductions are slow and monitored.
Important: George has had some litter box inconsistencies, so starting him in a quiet launch room with two large, open litter trays and deep clumping litter will set him up for success. Avoid covered trays or tight corners-he likes to feel safe and have easy access.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
